help had a problem with banding

i banded my 3 goats 2 days ago. and today i noticed that the sac on 1 of them looked like a saggy water balloon so i caught him and he had a hole in the sac and it looks like on of the balls is up past the band. i called the lady i got him from she said cut the band and give him pencillien and put something on the hole. will when i went to cut the band what looked like a testicle fell out of the hole witch was wierd and the hole was small.

is there any thing else i need to do for him.

I would be giving Penicillin at 1ml/ 15# injected IM for 5-7 days and spraying the hole with a wound spray.

I can't imagine the spermatic cord would have been "cut" in just two days allowing the testicle to fall out.

i felt around one testicle is up in the abdomn and thats the only one i could find im positive that what came out was the other the whole thing smells like rotten liver but i got a hold of a vet finnally ans was told that if the 2nd one falls back down i should just cut them but for now to just give him 2 cc of penicilon a day and make sure to keep the wound clean and clear of flys so i bought some blue lotion antiseptic stuff to put on it every day.

How old is this boy? You can't manipulate the testicle down into the sac? That would be the best way to go and band again. That is weird what you describe about the object falling through a hole in the sac. Not quite sure what that could be nor how there could be a hole there.

his is 3 months old the sac has shriveled up but the testicle is still up past where the band was going to take him to the vet monday going to cost me about $75 to get it fixed.
