@Bunnylady Thank you . The adult her name is Sheba is doing fine I have made some changes to the hutch so that it is connected to the run so she can go in and out whenever she wants she seems to love it. One more question from you all do you think that she will get lonely and die do rabbits need other rabbit companions? going to do everything that I can to keep her healthy and happy.

@alsea1 thank you for the information unfortunately the last baby rabbit didn't make it so sad I still have the adult rabbit but I don't think that I will ever own rabbits again if something happens to her..

Become more knowledgeable, learn all you can, then get back on the horse.
There's one constant in raising stock, "If you're going to raise them, you're going to lose some."
I've been doing it with cattle for a long time, I consider myself to know a lot about it and still lose one now and then. So does everyone else. I won't stop till I can't physically do it anymore.

If you have trouble of this magnitude again, post it in the Emergency section too. That's what it's there for.

No. Rabbits are not really social. Most expert breeders will say that some rabbits tolerate other rabbits better than others. I've heard a lot of horror stories where someone buys the rabbits together and they are fine until one day they are not which results in one or both rabbits being seriously injured sometimes resulting in death. In some cases it works out and the rabbits live happily together, but its rare and not something to expect. Rabbits in the wild & domesticated to not "hang out" with each other and don't "cuddle" their babies.

I'm sorry to hear about your horrible experience. I hope everything works out and you have learned a very important lesson. :(
