I always rode my horse bareback and barefooted, but damn it hurt to wear spurs like that!

Barefoot bareback and NO HELMET.....(and no spurs for me)I always rode my horse bareback and barefooted, but damn it hurt to wear spurs like that!

I rode my green broke, in training, Arab gelding bareback & bosal. We had some fun times! 
Wanted a saddle but no $....spent what I had to buy him. Worth it. Eventually, I got a saddle -- still rode bareback a lot.

I never wore a helmet except in competition where it was mandatory. I just don’t believe in them. Call me crazy
