After a night of helping the pig deliver her first time we had to finish the Rabbit pen.

Christmas Day we were gifted 5 week old, 2 New Zealand doe's and a buck.

Although we've dabbled over the years we are adding rabbits as a serious addition to our homestead.

When should we separate the does from the bucks. They're about 8 weeks old right now.

I usually separate genders at 6-8 weeks myself since there have been way too many times a young buck has knocked up sisters, mother, or all of the above, and that way I don't have to worry about it anymore. But some don't separate until 3 months old, which to me is a little late, but it's up to you :)

Thanks so much for the advice.
