Hi,

Oh golly, where to start?! Well my name is Annie - errr Canadiannee and I kinda happened onto Backyardherds while googling for livestock management software this evening... it seemed like an interesting place (I liked the decor), so I decided to pull up a seat (register) and join the crowd! (Looks like a really fun place!)

Currently my husband and I are in the midst of a "life's" change... our children have grown and fledge the family nest to raise families of their own (in other provinces), with the exception of our youngest son... As our children fledged, so did our herd of horses, from 14 equine babes, now down to our last four, but the managerie of small livestock we kept is growing... (goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, pheasants and quail) I'm excited to have found this forum, and hope to forge friendships with our neighbours across the border as well as some neighbours closer to home...

Hi Annie and welcome to Backyard Herds!!!

I'm a Canadian too but living in the deep South...I grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan, and now live in rural Northeast Mississippi...finding that the farm folks here are not unlike the farm folks from back home...just don't have to deal with such extreme cold winters and no snow to shovel
