Hi from Glasgow, Scotland!

Hi everyone!

I just came over here from BYC.

I live on a small farm out in the Scottish countryside but fairly close to Glasgow. Got a pile of chickens, a small herd of commercial beef cattle, and my two 'pet' Ayrshire twins, a heifer and a bullock. Hoping to get some goats soon but that may take a lot of begging and persuasion as my boyfriend isn't too keen on the sound of them...

If this place is half as good as BYC I know I'm going to love it here!

Oh, welcome here to the forum. This is a great place to get information about all your herd animals, everyone is sooo helpful.

Please post some pictures of your farm in Scotland. I have some Scottish blood in me, my grandmother was a Wallace. I love looking at pictures of your beautiful country.

Welcome!

I spent a semester outside Edinburgh and travelled to Glasgow a few times while I was over there. Love Scotland!!!!!

I'm still new here, but everyone is very helpful and great at getting answers.

p.s. I'm in the wanting goats stage, too. Just need to fix up room for them, because the hubby is finally on board!!!!!!!!!!

I know your part of the world well as I worked all over Scotland for 10 years before flitting over to Canada but I do have a nice herd of Galloways here.
