Hey all,
Ive owned horses since 1980 but I just recently got 2 llamas, a 5 month old donkey and a 5/6 month old Boer goat. VERY nervous about owning them. Been doing lots of reading and asking of questions, so any advice would be totally welcome.

There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. I recommend at least your state as most folks won't be able to figure out where if you put anything more specific (county, town, street, etc) by itself. I think it's good to be a little nervous because it shows you care abt the animals. If you went in with little concern, what quality of care would they receive? It's just like children. Read up in all the How To's, and get advice from everyone, yet not ease up on jitters until getting your feet wet and going through the experiences. There are lots of great folks here that share their experiences and give wise advice. You'll be fine. Find you a good vet. Get a good feed/hay supplier. Have good, dry shelter. The rest you'll learn through repetition.
