[QUOTEtestarter, post: 436377, member: 12680"]Greetings and welcome from the front range in Colorado. Born and raised in New England - Taxachusetts. Spent a decade stationed on the coast in Maine (Navy). Did many trips to the white mountains and the Presidential range. I love New England, but can't deal with the crowds and politics. Sure miss fresh sea food too. Anyway, Glad you finally came out of the shadows! Look forward to your posts. Make yourself at home![/QUOTE]
Oh we live in a quieter part of NH. Mass does not work for me! Haha, we briefly lived in CT, so not my style. I like NH better in that people kind of leave me alone :) so Colorado is drastically differen? Honestly I don't know much about it! Thanks for the greeting!

Yay!! I have 6 almost 3 month old bourbon reds. Really hoping for nice turkeys cuz my mom's kinda getting upset with them (they roost on the porch when I'm not there to put them away at night)and I really wanna raise turkeys XD.
I think I have to do another vid. but here's my turkey timelapse page. I take a video each wednesday and post it when I have time.

Nice! Our Tom is friendly but our hens are totally indifferent. We had a Tom that was incredibly aggressive... He is in the freezer now :) we had to train half of ours to go to bed at night, but the other half just do it. No clue why! I have heard bourbon reds are friendly but because they're so flighty we haven't tried that breed yet. I'll be curious to hear how they are as they mature.!

I had 2 black Spanish, sadly the tom was only nice to me so that didn't last long. He was protective of me. My sis was out there with me when he started to circle me and attacked my sis. Freezer:( He did taste good thou:p.

Oh boy! Ours hated me, but really didn't like my daughter. So he was a goner! We had, on multiple occasions, wild turkeys flock to my property and try to start fights with him. They don't bother my blue slate, but he is getting older so maybe not so threatening. One of our hens went broody and oh man was she protective of her nest!
