I am the novice keeper, (hate saying owner) of two PET Netherland Dwarf Bunnies. Both males from the same litter but one is a "Big Ugly" and the other is a "True". I never realized how intelligent bunnies actually are and what entails bonding with these sweet complexed animals. I always had dogs or hamsters. I guess we all have to start somewhere.

I have been reading many posts on here from experts and novices alike. There are many great ideas on how to make "Life for Bunny" pleasurable and fulfilling and definitely a part of your "pack".

I look forward to reading and responding to all you folks. I hope eventually I can bring something to this forum. Again, I am a novice. Putting it out there right up front. My "research" is just starting. My reseach of the past was just a bunch of reading. Now I can witness what others are saying and act on some fine ideas. This is basically my way of making sure my "pack" is safe and healthy.

Hope to interact with all.

Thank you for your reply. Boy am I learning how INTERESTING bunnies are. They are my first two and learning every minute. I am amazed at how smart they are. How they learn. And how proficient they are. I never ever thought bunnies were like this. That's how little that is known about these impressive little animals. Who would ever have thought? To be so loving, caring, funny, inquisitive, amusing.

Thanks so much Karen for your warm welcome. I went on your website. What nice looking goats you raise. Me and my better half looked into goats. Very NEAT animals. But unfortunately we live in a suburb and the ordinance in our town prohibits livestock like goats, chickens, pigs, etc. So we went with the Netherland Dwarfs because we could keep them indoors and set up a play area in our backyard for their outside adventures. I still go and read all about goats. Very interesting.

Again, thanks so much for the warm welcome.
