Welcome from northeast Texas! So glad to have you here. I don't have rabbits, but many years ago I raised them for show and meat. I kept around 300 of them. The bunny in your avatar is so pretty! There are lots of friendly, knowledgeable people here on this forum. ask any questions any time you need help.

Here is another big Howdy from the Great Lone Star State, where the stars at night are big and bright! Sit a spell, grab that there iced tea and just shoo the dog off the chair since he doesn't belong there anyway. New folks are a delight and exchanging ideas with other animal lovers makes all of us better care givers.

So, welcome but I must warn you we are dyed in the wool animal enablers who are very addicted to pictures. We can come up with all sorts of reasons, some logical and some excuses, as to why you should go out and get another rabbit, dog, goat (we love goaties), sheep or hamster. Just letting you know we tend to think that more is good, just like more folks on the site are good!

Ahem... as an up and coming enabler, I just wish to inform you that the "mini" sized goats top out at 40-50 pounds (or even less...) think small to medium sized dog, don't "bark all night long", can be leash trained, make excellent ready to use garden fertilizer (rather than smelly piles), and if planned, can also provide milk! Also, because they generally don't bark, don't have sharp teeth, and look (ARE!) so cute and cuddly (think extremely large bunny), most neighbors would be jealous and want to pat them all the time.

You might just start a neighborhood trend! :old:hide:gigyou'll be the envy of neighbors.

@Latestarter, YOU the man! Could be BYH needs another designation like "BYH Enabler". Taking over the world one goat at a time... well ok 2 goats at a time since they are very social beings. Love it, live it, am it!
