Hello from Connecticut!
Been stalking the page for months and have decided to take the plunge and join!
We are owned by a young herd of Alpines, ready to have kids and I figured we're going to have questions soon.
Talk to you all soon!

Waiting to see your herd. I love to see photos of all the different types of goats people are raising on here.

Well we chose Alpines for their milking abilities and we just love the variety of colors and looks these girls have. We also have a older Lamancha doe (who is ready to kid any minute), and her daughter who is like a "mini me" of her mom.
Most of the Alpine does are due in April and we have two beautiful bucks who joined our herd last summer.
We are planning on making cheese and soap this year and see exactly what the market is for this area.

You can be nosy all you want, I love talking about my big babies, they are the best thing that ever happened to us, as many animal owners would agree!
