Just a thought that might or might not work for what you want SmallFarmGirl.

Instant Clearjel could be added to the recipe. It wouldn't mess with the integrity of the facial scrub but would firm it up and allow you to mold it. You'd still need to "keep" it in the fridge. I couldn't say how much to use...you'd have to experiment. I keep Instant Clearjel in my cabinet and love it in all sorts of applications (both food and not).

I really don't know. I've never looked for it there.

I've always bought it from Nuts Online.

I did a search and looks like there are lots of places to purchase it online so you might be able to find it locally :/
