Hooves

Hello, been a while. I have 2 rescued Nubian goats who have had their hooves neglected. I started using my tool which is a snipper thing but some of the flaps are so thick it doesn't work, in fact, the back of the hooves have cartilage and is very tough to snip off. Any suggestions on another tool or tips on how to get them trimmed and to keep them still so I can do it faster?

I had the same problem. I got horse hoof nippers. They work much better.
