In addition to the usual carrots, apples & store-bought treats, my horses also enjoy Ritz crackers, corn chex and the absolute fave Nutri-grain bars, especially apple.

Those recipes would also be a nice treat to make for someone who has a horse as a gift (for say Christmas)..... stores have gift stockings for dogs & cats around the holidays, why not other animals.? My Mom & Aunt exchange animal gift treats for their dogs at Christmas.

Our horses like anything that's crunchy! lol I made abunch of treats for the horses and it lasted about ... 3 weeks, we have 12 horses and 3 on the way!! Due this April!!!!! Can't wait!!!
