They have gotten some meds to appy directly to the wound in addition to the pen. shots.

The horse is doing well and the SIL took her home with him last night so they can take care of her. The owner had a cataract removed yesterday so, she isn't able to take care of her right now and the SIL and DD are equipped to deal with the horse.

Yes, she is getting good care. Her owner puts her animals care as a top priority and when she can't care for them by herself, isn't afraid to ask for help.
