I have a doe that's on day 145. I noticed today that her poop is clumpy so I checked her eyelids and they are pale pink. I wormed them all three weeks ago with Cydectin when I gave them their shots. It's been really wet here lately. I'm thinking that I should go ahead and worm her since I don't want her becoming anemic after she kids, but I don't want to hurt the kids if it's too late to worm her. So what would you do? Go ahead and worm her again with Cydectin or wait until after she kids?

If you are worried about the babies, you can always give the pregnant doe pine branches... give her as much as she wants. Pine is a natural dewormer that she would find to self medicate, if she were out in the wild. ;)

Edited to add: I forgot to mention that they need to be fresh, needles and all! :)

Thanks for the replies. I just wasn't sure since the last time I had to worm a doe this close to kidding she kidded later that day.

Thank you for the good info on the pine needles; as my pregnant goat loves to eat them.
