I have had fresh goats milk in my coffee and it is delicious however this morning I put some milk that was from last week into my coffee and I must admit I am choking it down. :S It is not sour but it is definitely "goaty"...how long does it last before getting strong?

I think that is individual. I have had some from years ago, that did what yours is doing, but now mine stays good easy a week, maybe more, just have not been able to keep it around that long...... :p

Last year our goat milk was sweet and wonderful for about two weeks - if it lasted that long. But, I wouldn't even worry about sniffing it until we were past 10 days.

Interestingly enough, I hypothesize that goat's milk does that mostly when heated. I find that most people can't put it in hot beverages (tea and coffee), but when served cold, milk from the exact same container tastes excellent.

oh that's make sense...I know it is much stronger if it doesn't chilll quickly but never made the connection to hot beverages. It seems fine when I smelled it in the jar but it was definitely had a bit of funk in my coffee, not undrinkable but not enjoyable either...the second half ended up in going down the sink. :(

Oh well, there are plenty other things I love goats milk for. :D

I say about 2 weeks also. We pasteurize ours and use it in cereal, coffee, and in any recipe that calls for milk.
