How long till they look better?

I have a few goats that had some bad worms. They got pretty skinny, so I took a fecal into the vet and he said stomach worms. He suggested cydectin. So we oral drenched them with cydectin (10 cc per 100 lbs). This was probably a week ago. I'm planning on taking a fecal in to the vet again sometime next week...

These are milking Nubians, we have been feeding grain, and rolled corn twice a day (only milking once), free choice alfalfa hay, and leaving beet pulp out free choice every two days or so.

My question is, how long will it take for me to see them gain some weight? I'm getting so nervous cuz they look "on their death bed" skinny. DH thinks they are skinny but not dying skinny. They seem otherwise healthy, poops are normal, appetite is good, they browse the pasture just fine... I hate seeing them this way... How long do I have to wait??

They will take a few months to build back up.
This happened with my nubian. She looked horrid.
Its better for a slow gain versus rapid gain.
Black oil sunflower seeds are a good addition to diet.
Be sure to observe milk with hold time if there is one for that wormer.

Alsea- how much BOSS should I give them? Free choice or limited?

I get about 20 pounds or so and mix that with 40 or 50 pounds of grain.
I think the oil in the seeds helps their coats.
I didn't get blood work done first, which a person should do, but I also gave my girl a copper bolus. Copasur. Its for copper def.
I don't know if it helped or not but she is looking pretty good now.
