I have only seen slight movement when my doe is on her side. She's about two to three weeks away from having her baby. And I'm probably just over thinking things. Over a few posts I've read people are saying how their FF'S babies arent as noticeable as more experienced does when it comes to moving. Her stomach does sometimes twitch or move when she's eating or just laying down. But not as much as other people say they do... could that be a problem?

I think every goat is different same as in humans and every other animal. I know people who never are able to feel the babies move until they are born while others will feel them pretty easily.
OK thanks, I just didn't really know what to expect. Because all I've really read about are babies that can be easily felt.

Ohhh I have a saanan nubian doe too. She is THICK and super easy to maintain weight on with little feed. I doubt I'll be able to feel anything on her. But I won't know 'til she's closer.
Can I see a picture of yours? This is mine her name is newton

We opted to wait for tilda to kid as a two year old to give her more time to mature (we also have another who will be two and kidding as well as two who will be three kidding) so March 3rd she turns two. She had the floppy ears but lost about 1/3 of them to frost bite at birth at the persons home she was born at. She is bored to a nubian buck but I'm more concerned about her milking capabilities, yum!
