how old is to old to breed?

I have a champane d aergent, She is 4 years old she has a litter now that is 3 weeks old. I want to breed her again. when will she be to old to breed. Thanks lisa

You'll notice her fertility dropping but there's no definite age that most people (that I know) stops breeding. As long as she's healthy and still producing healthy kits with no issues, you should be fine. Especially if she's only 4.

Thank you. She eats alot, I feed her alittle more than the books say to. she acts like she is starving all the time. She is a big rabbit. I dont want her to get fat. Now that she has a litter I keep feed for her out most of the time. She is not fat or under wait just hungry all the time!!

While she is nursing you should give her all the food she wants. Once babies are weined, back down to normal rations for the size bunny she is. I would say she can be bred as long as she is healthy and still producing healthy kits for you.

The lady with 4 dogs, 4 city chickens, 4 meat rabbits and a lizard
