Loving the herd life
It seems as though my doe has more milk on the left side than on the right. She has twins and they nurse from both teats; however when I milk her she gives very little on the right side and the left seems to be bursting with milk.
Her udder isn't hot or hard and the milk that does come out of the right side isn't clumpy or red - it looks the same as the other side.
What would be the best way to increase milk production on this side? She sort of looks lop-sided now - and when I get her up on the stand I try to spend more time with the less-full side and milk it out as opposed to leaving a little in there for the kids. I've noticed that the left teat fills up nicely after each squeeze, but the right takes some bumping to fill back up.
