You're talking mobile version, right? I noticed on my phone that it's just about the same as the desktop version, only it fits on the screen. Maybe it's like a hybrid between mobile and desktop.

That was my first impression too, takes time for your eyes to get used to what to look at/for and what to ignore. Keep playing with it, it gets better.
