Yes, I will start one tomorrow. No babies as of yet, although I did confine them - in fact I have four does all about the same bred time and they are separated from all the others in one barn because they all get along good. Nothing from my Mancha yet, but I do think my other one may go in the next 24 hours. Nothing in particular other than she is just acting a little strange for her. My other two that are about to go is Orangi's sister- Lilaki - and one funny little girl named Bonni and she is Nigerian/Pygmy. I think Bonni may have a little longer to go yet, but not much, maybe a week or at the most two, but Lilaki was bred right about the same time as Orangi- which is the one who's bottom I posted earlier. Their other sister Nelli Vanilli is also Nigerian and she is bred as well, but I hand bred her, so I know she is not due until Feb 2nd and I have several others that are due at that same time. I will try to post a kidding thread tomorrow. Thanks for your help, will keep you posted
I am not good with the ligament test and mine will have discharge for days. The only indicator I find is constant is if they have really sticky, thick, milky discharge or you see significant change in udder size in a 12 hour period. Hubby claims when they have hay sticking to their hoo hoos they are ready to go but this doesn't always work.
Mine always like to kid right when the weather gets really bad. I would love it if they kept their legs crossed until it warmed up.
