Do you not know around when they may have gotten bred???
I wasn't sure since my girls were bred by accident but I had kinda kept track of Gracies previous cycles. But my younger one I only knew she was mated later than the older doe.
i think they would have to be a week or so My little doe that just had her baby looked about there size and she had white mucus about a week and a half before she had the baby and she had him yesterday morning. I would keep looking at their tail. Look up Faisco farms to look at "checking Ligs" and it shows you how.
thats how I knew my Choula was getting really close and there change in behavior, she was really whinning.
Can't wait to read about your adventures in kidding
Good Luck.

A does gestation time is 5 months. Give or take a day or two. ( and what ever else "They" might have planned.....lol. ) Mea.

All my 8 pregnant does this year have been different except for one thing...The day each kidded, their udders got full and hard. All the other "signs" really threw me for a loop, but that was the one common thing I noticed.

I look for the hollow "dropped" look towards their rear, that's usually my best clue that they will kid soon.

The goat in my avatar bagged up a month ahead of time. And she laid in the pasture, rolling for over a month being a drama queen. I had no idea when she was due since we got her already bred. Was told the beginning of March and she birthed on March 31st.

Welcome to the goat guessing game....

Check the ligaments on each side of her tail. When they are loose enough so that you cannot feel them anymore, she will kid within 12 hours.
