Thanks. I'll do portraits for friends and family, but I don't advertise. That market here is over-saturated with "professionals" who don't know a ring flash from a ring pop. The signal-to-noise ratio is very bad. I know a couple of great portrait photographers who I will occasionally shoot with as a "second" (meaning they will get a job where they need more than one photographer and sub out the other work. Weddings are very common for this, as are large events). I normally refer clients looking for portraiture to them unless it's something funky I'm excited about shooting myself.
