Taking a break from wool.
Working on Arturo's seconds. Doing a quick few passes with the carders, then storing. Will go back and carefully comb and then turn into rolags all in one go.

Derrik's prime blanket I sent off to a random hand spinner to do a 50/50. She made thick, 3ply out of my half.

Used koolaid to dye my hair and a hat I made.
Match my phone case now...lol.

3-4 packets unsweetened, splash of vinegar, cup or three of water, boil, toss in wool. Or turn off heat, stick in hair and cover with lid. 15-20min later, ta-da!
Probably should of reheated and sat for longer doing my hair, but not easy to stand bent over a hot pot for long...lol.

I would think that would be water soluble. Will the hat retain the color if it is washed?

Washed the hat and nothing, same with my hair, but who knows what will happen 100 washes from now.
Supposedly, the vinegar & boiling it should make it color-fast.
