I got 4 ND goats last week. 2 mamas and their babies? One of them her baby on January 2nd 2014. Is it possible that she could have gotten pregnant right after giving birth.
Here are a couple signs
eating more than normal or an average adult goat ND should. If her belly is tighter than normal. Also if she doesn't go into heat again. Obviously a later sign is her udder will fill, but that is later. The best way to tell is have a vet do an ultrasound. How old is she? Is her other baby still nursing?
She doesn't seem to be eating more but we have only had her for 2 weeks. She is 3-4 years old. Her baby tries to nurse a little but she is pushing her away most of the time
I would just keep an eye her and if she doesn't into heat this month, then I would get an ultrasound. If she is preggo, the baby definitely needs to stop nursing so she can get more energy for a new baby
