just read this on her website:
"Bucks kids will be castrated at 4 weeks of age. After this they will be sold as wethers at $50 each. "
which if they are wethered that would make a lower price and i could keep them and sell all my saanen kids for income. instead of keeping a wether to train.

That's an excellent price...around here, does in milk would sell for $350-$400 w/o any kids, doe kids sell for about $200, whethers get eaten, or sold to pet homes for next to nothing ($50-$100 depends on markings honestly!). I'd say go for it if the herd is clean! You might ask is they'd let you do payments (they would keep them until paid for)...I've done this a time or two for buyers...

Good luck!

Sounds like a good buy to me. Around here an open doe with a decent pedigree will run 300.00 to 500.00.

I put a deposit on a registrable doeling that costs $300 normally, so heck, that's a great price for a doe and her *THREE* kids, wethers or not!

That is a good price. If you get the kids, there is no way I would want the bucks castrated at 4 weeks though. You are just asking for a UC problem.

I thought of that too, but if it's already done, there's not much else you can do about it. :/
