Kidding season is officialy over,, no more baby goats this year!! Final tally,, GIRLS WIN,,, 15 girls,,,, 3 boys,,, 2 boys born as angels,, 1 boy passed 2 days after birth ( momma layed on it ) and 2 orphan boys that came from another farm.. I love kidding season but so happy when the stress of it is over))

Congrats on all the girls.

We are waiting for our last one to kid, due a couple days ago. It is kind of bitter sweet having the last one kidding, I always enjoy the anticipation of: how many babies? what are they going to look like? But like you, don't miss the extra mental energy kidding season reguires.

my last was born this morning and was the one I was sweating the most.. I wasnt planning on breeding my older girl and favorite cause the last 2 years she had kidding probs.. Well she got in w/ the buck but I didn't Lute her cause she acting like she was in season again when it was time to Lute.. She has always had 3 to 5 babies and was expecting at least twins but she had one single girl. A single is great and will so much easier on her!!

Congrats on all the girls! I know how ya feel too it is bittersweet. The stress of waiting for the kids to come and being afraid something will go wrong is always hard, but the cute kids makes it worth it. I got mostly boys this year. We had 7 boys and 2 girls.

Congratulations on all your babies. So sorry you lost one. I am waiting for one. The only 1 pregnant. This is my 1st year doing this. Got our boys last June and our 2 girls in Feb and than in April. So all this is new to me. Wow that is alot of babies.

I tried thinking back to see what I did right to get so manys girls.. Did i breed on a full moon,, second tue of the month,, what song was a humming but nope i got nothing,,,,lol.. would be nice to repeat!!!
