Dunno if this is right section or maybe “diseases” - 1st day home noticed him scratching. Dosed him for mites. He was good for two days and is now digging at himself like he’s gonna pull the hide off. Scratches all over. Someone know what’s the remedy for this?

I haven't had much by way of mite issues *knock on wood*. As far as lice goes, I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of them without having some of the goats lose hair (thanks, Ultraboss) so I'm not a lot of help. Sorry.

My mistake - is not mites, no scabies look - must be lice, and did dose ivermectin. He’s digging around “thin skin” between toes, scrotum, insides of legs.

Wipe ivermectin on the spots with a cotton ball, or such. Re-dose by mouth, also.

Clean its stall, fresh bedding, spray walls with bleach. Is this only animal?
