Soft ligaments, long stingy mucus from her whoo-whoo, building an udder, pawing at the ground, talking to her sides, long stares into the distance, stretching... but goats are notorious liars so it's anyone's guess. Enjoy the ride...

Edit: I forgot to add: loud screaming.

I am waiting for most of these signals from my 6.75 month old doeling.... so far her ligs are pretty much gone, and her udder has gone from nothing to kiwi sized bulges above each teat.... but other than that... she is a mystery.

Normally you will notice that her belly used to be out more on the sides and then it looks thinner, that's because her belly dropped and the kids are more underneath, and you will notice her vulva swelling and getting longer and looser looking, she will seem to loose her appetite and lay around more, her udder should start to look larger and more filled in.

the day she is due you may notice more of a discharge, they will talk to their belly, they will start making a nest,if they are with other goats they will distance themselves from the herd.

but then again goats are liers and pretty much when you see her up and down, up and down, and pushing she is due. Or they wait for you to be out of the barn and when you come back in an hour there are babies. That annoys me to no end.

Good luck with everything, keep us posted.

If you post 10 times you can post pictures for everyone to enjoy. We love pictures.

Well that is good news... My doe is due today. A few days ago the kid(s) fell out of her ribs and her belly got reeeeally wide. Then I went out to feed last night and she didn't look pregnant anymore. She thinned right out. I have been checking her ligaments... I think. I don't really know what I am feeling for, but I THINK they were still there, unless I am feeling the wrong thing. No baby morning though. :/ I don't like the waiting game. I want to meet the new goat(s)
