Mango seed? That's a ginorm seed. Do you break it up or crush it? Coming from the land of we grow those around here.
Now I'm wondering what else is there that is good for them. So much I don't know, so much to learn (always learning).
And @KodeshAcres - I'm now checking out that book Natural Sheep Care. Thx!
I hope you get it, it's been worth every penny.

I've read about ground papaya seeds being used for deworming. A google search might turn up some info.
Haven't read anything about papaya seeds for sheep. I do know that humans can take 1 teaspoon at a time whole (not crushed) to pass parasites. The parasites will attach themselves to the seeds like magnets and come out the rear.

Oops ..meant papaya 😳. Too many fruits! But if you have these trees, dry & crush that seed...

It's expensive. Fruits are $1.08 a# at WM. Big at 4-5# ea....the fruits contains some of the chems found more concentrated in seed. Same with pumpkin.

I grow comfrey, another maligned "weed" grown & used for decades in Europe. Hey, look at these items --- notice that big pharma cannot patent & make $$$ from these.
Haven't found anything about papaya seeds for sheep. I'll have to do more research, I know it works on humans.

We want to grow comfrey too!!!! Teach me how 😚

At least for goats it's normal to always have some tapeworms. They have a soil mite as an intermediate host so it's rather difficult to completely get away from and rid of it. Some people say they're harmless, however I've found that if they're losing condition for no other reason or not growing well a wormer that completely kills tapeworms should be considered (for instance, not valbazen that only kills the heads). For us that has been a horse wormer. Sheep probably have something better available. We lost a buckling to what the necropsy decided was several large adult tapeworms obstructing digestion and sapping energy. They DO kill-just not usually.
That is right. We all have parasites, animals and humans. It's just important to regularly cleanse and rid some of the load.

How many tablets do you give per day?

I have that book! I haven’t read it in several years. I got it out last night but fell asleep. LOL
