Mine didn't come with the tub, we will figure out something. I checked the manufacturer website and the trap + tub was $30 more than just the trap at TSC. The ratinator was $10 more than the squirrelinator. Maybe the traps can catch both? That would be efficient. I'm thinking peanut butter and sunflower seeds for bait.

Yeah - you can get them with or without the tub. Probably if you have more than one you only need one tub.
I wonder if the ratinator is the same size as the squirrelinator. Ya' never know - the right size kiddie pool might work (but I'd mark it with a big X - so as not to use it for anything else 🤢.

We have several storage tubs that should be plenty big enough, which are missing the lids. I'll bet one can be repurposed for the trap.

I'm getting really tired of finding rodent poop in the rabbit feeders.

Munchkin is being naughty today and so far has refused to nap. Hopefully he will cooperate after he gets tired of playing with the water toys in the backyard. He did a lot yesterday and was really good with his nap then despite the change of schedule for holiday activities.

When he gets over tired he starts getting very clumsy and trips a lot, leading to more tantrums and crying. Not all crying/tantrums solely done by munchkin.

The Ratinator is geared for smaller rodents. The Squirrelinator would allow most rats to escape. We used mashed fruit and grain. Peanut butter will just make a mess in the heat. Because it is oily it won't wash off like mashed fruit.

Went to Leatherby's tonight as a family with my brother and his fiance, my parents, hubby and munchkin. It was munchkin's first time at Leatherby's. He doesn't do well if forced to stay still for long stretches of time, so we took turns walking him around the parking area while waiting for the food and then waiting for the ice cream to try to burn off some energy and keep him happy. He mostly had french fries for dinner, but also really enjoyed chewing/eating ice cubes from the water glass.

Hubby and I were splitting a brownie sundae for dessert and the waitress brought a small dish and some tiny cookies for munchkin. We gave him a few spoonfuls of the vanilla ice cream and added some of the chocolate and caramel sauce. He loved it! It got everywhere! We got lots of cute pictures.
