I wore long pants today for the first time since May.
gotta wait for spouse to die.....Al, 30 years is long enough to be trapped out in the cold (and prolonged periods of darkness)... I say it's time you got some shorts once again and moved back down here to TX where you belong. Just a thought
We had rain starting yesterday and are supposed to have it daily for a week. Our grass is bright green again. That makes a great color background for our fall color change.Well, supposed to be 91 tomorrow, then high of 69 on Sunday with "a chance of rain" between there... That large a difference to me indicates a rather major front passing through which I always associate with rain and T-storms... Sure could use the rain.
LOL I love your way of defining the weather but type of clothing! We typically only get a hand full of the most extreme here by your definition. For me top end is thermals under hoodie under waterproof outer shell with lining zipped inside.Yah, this is flannel shirt weather. Next comes hoodie weather, then Carhart. Sometimes when it gets real cold, it's hoodie under Carhart weather. Also prefer to go in order and not skip straight to Carhart or creep back to flannel shirt or T-shirt weather. Haha
Coyotes are a problem in our area. The county is trying to trim down a pack that at last count had 2 dozen members. Hearing them call in the evening can be a little scary. That is a lot of obstacles to be sure. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. I can't relate with the big predators. The biggest we have is coyotes. I guess I would be pretty uneasy with bear and mountain lions roaming around. Good luck with your ventures.
I agree. And it only got worse 2 presidents back when the "Saving" time was extended on both ends. I have no idea what it would take, shy of moving to a state that doesn't do DSL, to get it GONE!(which IMHO outlived its usefulness sometime in the last century).
True, but I REALLY don't have a desire to make two pots of soup, one with meat stock and one without.I would still make it. She doesn't have to eat it and you would get some very good healthy stock for a winter soup. You do eat meat so a few containers in the freezer would provide for some other meals for you. Not trying to be mean, but there is no reason why you can't have some even if she doesn't eat meat.
