TOR...Your property looks very nice. Our property and view is very similar to yours in the first photo. Substitute your euks for just a few centuries old Valley Oaks 50'-75' tall,and rolling grass land. Grass grows to about 6" due to close to the surface hardpans and sparce rainfall (6"-10" / year from late Nov. to March... high desert). The Sierra Nevada Mountains start just a mile from our back deck, 500- 2,500 ft. elevation. There the trees change to Pin and Scrub Oak similar to the second photo. Then about 15 miles up and at about 3,000 feet elevation it changes to pine trees. A major ski resort is just 30 miles up them thar hills.
