Into to Cassandra and more time with boys went okay. I had him on leash in night pen and kids came in. Much excitement and sitting on feet. Leo let kids curry comb him and roll on back for tummy pets. No other bad spots noted but several ticks. His coat is compacted at minimum maybe matted. I will work on brushing him.

Hubby just called. Vet cleaned Leo's wound and did all the standard visit stuff. They said wound is already "granulated" and healing. He may end up with bald spot there. Have wound bandages that encourage healing and antibiotics for him. Glad it isn't a major issue.

Bandage change for Leonidas with hubby holding him in check. He weighs 105lbs while leaning on the vet's wall.

Spot is looking very good after some serious work at vet's office. I gave it a couple quick swabs with 0.12% chlorhexidine gluconate disinfectant then rebandaged. He also was forced to eat his antibiotics.
