It's a shopping bag made out of a plastic burlap cat food bag. I put the printed side in so I could stencil the outside! The bag would have ended up in the garabage before but, now I have recycled it. I know some of you are from BYChickens and have seen others that have done this with chicken feed bags (mine are paper). I just thought I would post it here for those who are not BYChickens members to see.

It's going garage saleing with me today!

you did a great job, especially on your stencil job. These days with everyone using their own grocery bags, I bet your bags would work great for grocery shopping.

Do see a little side business in the making! Very Nice.

No, I don't see a little side business in the making. The sewing machine and I don't get along the greatest. It will be enough for me to make my own.

I took it shopping on Friday afternoon to a Menonite store and it did wonderful. I took it garage saleing yesterday and filled it up many times. I had other bags I could have switched to when I filled it but, I just unloaded it into the van and kept using it. :D

I've been busy making more. All of these, except the book one, are to use for Christmas.

The book one is the one we use when we go to the library. I have put a pocket in it to put the print out of what we checked out in.

I'm not sure where the idea came from but, someone had posted it on BYChickens. I have had fun making them and have stuffed the ones that I use with a great variety of stuff. They are better than those plastic bags you get in the store-hands down and they recycyle!
