There is about 4 inches of snow on the ground which means if I hurry up and get my axle fixed on the dump truck it will pack in perfect, not the powder that was there.
My truck is in the shop (warranty work) which means driving the 2WD SUV to get around. If I didn't have a semi to get done before next week I would stay home.
Everyone is having a better morning than me. Yep, up to my 4 old mini mares out of their pasture. Then they raced around and then into old garden area shut that gate & added water. Good for the day. Now, replace a short line of fence -- 50-60'? -- that just got moved to top of list Even being old, they can still race around!! Goats watched in amazement.
Back to the gym this morning, started snowing about the time I got up, might be a lovely day here. Makes it peaceful to study. Won't be so "peaceful" when I get to the barn.
Drank some Red Bull this morning for the fun of it, makes it easier when I want to go back to bed.
I know we don't like discussing politics, but I hope it is ok to bring up that Colorado voters shot down a possible meat processing plant ban. Was slightly worried for the industry for a bit.
Morning everyone!
I apologize for not having coffee I drank it all. Been up since 1:30AM. Have lots of stuff on my mind lately and most recent is I found out on Friday Nov 1st that my Grandpa passed away on Tues Oct 29th less than 24 hours from having SIMPLE gallbladder surgery and NOW his "so called" wife &son he was living with won't pick up their home phone then on Sat (Nov 2nd) morning I found out that there had been videos on TIKTOK last year (Nov 8th,2023) of other truckers trying to save my Uncle.
Another rough year and have to pretend everything is all good when there's no feeling but pain and sadness!
....runs to look up CO proposed ban. Gosh, I toured quite a few meat processing plants in CO back in the day. Cargil, IBP, and more. 'Course, they've changed hands and names over the years.
