Looking for advice on pregnant ewe

It's no surprise that with quads she got toxemia. She couldn't eat enough to keep herself and 4 little suckers alive. Once the ewe goes down it's almost impossible to save them. In my experience anyways. I'm sorry that you lost her! I'm the same way, I like to cut them open to see what's what.

I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. We just had our first lambing experience and it went well ( one lamb) and I thank my lucky stars nothing went wrong.

We have been blessed with some lambs over a really miserable weekend. We so far have 2 sets of twins and 1 single. Still have 3 more ewes to go-2 of which are first timers. Guess I might start a lambing thread.
