I posted a few weeks back that I had some big news, but wasn't ready to share quite yet.

He is here!!!!
I am so excited!

Unfortunately, a visit to @Wehner Homestead 's place just wasn't in the cards. She had to work that day & we had a buyer in MI that we needed to meet up with (she bought the Lucy/Kiegh "Bitsy" doeling) and the weather turned pretty crappy on the way up. Lots of snow and a nasty winter mix. It was about a 12 hour trip one way. The drive home was a bit easier but as a warm front was coming through we were hustling to stay ahead to the severe storms that were on their way. We were able to stay 1-2 hours ahead of it, thank goodness!

I am excited to announce our newest addition to the Wings & Caprines herd! It was a long trip but worth it! Saturday night we arrived home with my new herdsire, we are so excited and look forward to kidding in 2020!

Introducing *B CuAtLilRedBarn Sir Charms!

S: CuAtLilRedBarn Whistle Back
SS: CH Wood Bridge Farm Undeniable
SD: SGCH CuAtLilRedBarn Gwen Quinn 4*M 91 VEEE (2017 Reserve National Champion)

D: GCH Jasper's Haram JB Coco Puff 2*M
DS: +B AGS Many Tracks All That Jazz
DD: Old Mountain Farm Sea Breeze 1*M

Charms is already a strong, powerful looking buckling and I couldn't be more pleased! He brings in some exciting genetics and we anticipate using him over our Kiegh/Isaac daughters.
I am working on getting some better pictures, he is a typical bottle baby and is already spoiled rotten... just how we like them ;)

Charm's dam, Coco Puff is a doe that I have admired and I enjoyed watching her on the ADGA national show live stream last year. Coco Puffs has appraised VEEE 90 twice, once as a six year old and again as a nine year old. She has placed 1st in her class at nationals once (2018), 3rd in her class at nationals twice, and 4th in her class at nationals once. Coco Puff was part of the 1st place dairy herd at the 2018 ADGA National show. Coco Puff is also the dam of the 1st place/1st udder 3y/o doe at the 2016 ADGA National show.

Photo's of Coco Puff, Whistle Back, & Gwen Quinn are used with permission from CuAtLilRedBarn.

Here he is! He was born 2/18 and is fitting in with our babies perfectly!

She spoiled this kid all the way home. When she would call and talk to me he would have a fit! Like some people's ill behaved children.
Get him home and 2 hours of jumping spinning leaping through the house!.
Bathed him the next morning and he is with "friends" now. But when he sees her he hollars and when he is out he runs and leaps in her arms. So funny.
It reminds me of when she got Isaac. Goodness that boy was spoiled rotten. I see a repeat! ;)

Thanks all! I am so excited.
Over the last few years I’ve been working hard to really cut down our buck numbers.

We really don’t need 20 bucks

This gives me Isaac, Kiegh, and now Charms to work with.

I can’t wait to get some better pics of him. I really like how he looks so far.

LUV him!!! The girls in his fam just show how well he is bred. It's ok to spoil him but, if he runs and jumps in your arms now -- what about when grown? :epWOOWEE:lol:
:yuckyuck
I have a bad habit of spoiling the goats. :hide
He’s not the first to do this. :hide
He’ll learn though, he still screams any time he can see or hear me. :D =D

@farmerjan, remember that itty bitty doeling that you suggested the name “Bitsy” for? She is growing up and doing great! Still on the bottle but fine to go to her new home. She went up to MI! :ep

Anyway, she is doing great at her new home. The owner is keeping her in the house with some other bottle kids so she can acclimate.

I get a text the next morning from the owner, apparently Bitsy jumped out of the pack’ N play and she couldn’t find her for several minutes… the doe was sleeping on the owner’s massage chair!:gig
