My Missouri Foxtrotter mare, Million Dollar Lady is past 21 yrs old this year and as healthy as a horse half her age. Her longevity may trace back to her granddam, Maggie Ann Browns, World Grand Champion. Maggie Ann Browns was presented at the MFTHBA Celebration for her last lap at the age of 33 yrs old and she passed at the age of 34 yrs old.
Here is Maggie Ann Browns at the age of 33
This mare's son, my mares sire, Damn Yankee lives about 10 miles from me and this stallion is nearly 30 now and still fertile. His last foal was born last year. He is not standing to the public but was allowed to breed a single mare 2 yrs ago and she was in foal with one breeding.
Just wanted to share about this amazing breed, and a few of the amazing individuals.
