We moved Cookie, Ginger, Zamia and Rosemary from the kidding stalls to our nursery pen.
It was a great day to be a baby goat in N.C. today.:love

I should have said it was a great day to own baby goats today. I was able to spend a couple of hours with them, and it was a great stress reliever.
I've had my share of stress lately.

It seems goat mommas are like their human counterparts in that they never seem to quit mothering even the older, grown babies from earlier pregnancies, too. The moms will put the older siblings in their place around their new little ones, but they are never as harsh with them as other goats are to them. Just big brothers or sisters learning new roles in the herd I guess.

Great looking group of babies you got there OneFineAcre!

That's very true. Ginger is Cookie's momma and they and their babies hang out more. They both have singles and they are un-seperable.
