@Weldman You hit nail on the head about controller dialing back what it is taking from panel! My husband had time to look at all the history and trending on the app today. His analogy was my 500gal tank was full. That I've been using and refilling the same 5 gallons as most of the rain ran away.

Then he went and got 2 radiator fans for free from auto repair shop. The fans are known to work but tabs needed to mount to fan block are busted. Plan is to hook them up at show sheep / maternity pen.

You never mentioned the inverter size either, the larger the inverter the more draw it has when on, on idle.
Keep inverter size matched to solar panel size, about 1.35 over solar panel wattage is max you want. My system of 12.1kW would want the max inverter size of 16.336kW
No inverter in the system. Everything is DC. Camera have 5VDC 2A USB plugs. Electric fencer came with alligator clips to go straight on 12V battery terminals.

Exhausted, laying down now. I got up at 7am and went out to sheep shed. A water trough with float is a 112' out into pasture under shade tree. There is a silver 11'x20' tarp up over outside walkway and water trough. I used 8ft t-posts and rope to hold it up. Board across ends of shorter t-posts to prevent punctures. Sheep are locked out of shed because it's like an oven with no airflow.P_20240629_095718.jpgP_20240629_100411.jpg

Then after a break, I was on Facebook and saw a deal. 2hours of running around borrowing trailer ensure. I now have three 6'x6' gigantic round bales of horse quality hay for $190 total. One of last year's cutting and 2 from new.
:love

The feed store was charging $140 at peak demand for a single 5'x5' round bale. Unloading was interesting, the beaver tail really helped. They are up on plastic pallets and will get metal frame tarp shed over them soon.
