@Mini Horses I will file tomorrow for unemployment. It caps out far below my salary but will help cover essentials. Timing sucks because we haven’t built up reserves from when Alijah was laid off.

OMG! What reason did they give? Actually this gives you the opportunity to find a better job with nicer people, better salary and more benefits. Any time I was ever terminated, I always got a better job for a lot more money.

The Chief Operating Officer Tim said The Engineering department “is not a good environment for what you are interested in doing and what we need.” That is an exact quote and what I put on unemployment claim. I have my own recording of meeting and they have theirs.
Of course HR put some bull**** on the termination letter. HRLady did not ask me to sign the letter and I would not have anyway. The recording also captures HRLady stating they would not fit unemployment claim and my remaining 25% of 4Q2024 bonus will be paid. We’ll see…

And yesterday my MIL tested positive for Flu A and Covid. She was watching oldest Alexander all day Friday at robotics competition. Hubby, myself, and 2 little all feel like crap. At least insurance is fixed and will be active tomorrow. I’m praying Dominic doesn’t get Flu or Covid. It seems like most of the Type1 littles on my FB groups are ending up back in hospital right now with either.
