Mastistis - Today vs. Tomorrow?

I have a nine year old Nubian doe who apparently has mastitis on one side only of her udder. I've used Today on that side and it seem to clear up for a few weeks but she never got milk on that side. I'm milking her other side and getting 3/4 gallon a day from the good side. I felt a small hard lump on the bad side yesterday...

1) Should I use Today again because I'm milking one side or should I use Tomorrow because there is no milk on that side?

2) Is it safe to be drinking her milk from the good side when using these products?

3) Is it safe to be drinking her milk from the good side at all?

I have the exact same thing going on, but not reoccurring (as of yet!)

My goat got mastitis in one side and never really produced milk after that on that side. The other side gives a ton.

I am interested in the answers people give you!

If the milk from the 'good' side isn't lumpy / chunky / stinky, etc. I'd say it's PROBABLY safe....but I'd more than likely get a CMT (California Mastitis Test) or take a sample to the vet and have that verified.

I'm not sure I'd drink milk from the unnaffected / untreated side, even if it is ok, while using either product....for no other reason than it'd freak me out to, though....

I'd use today for 3-5 days, then use tomorrow now and again when you dry off the good side.

I've had does get a 'dead' side of their udder before when they'd get mastitis, where the 'bad' side just didn't produce / freshen at all when they kidded again.
That may be what happens. She could freshen fine on both sides. There's just no way to 'know' for sure.

Thanks Rolls. I did do the CMT immediately and again a few days ago. The good side looks good.
