I'm not a big fan of beef w/ horns (been there), but they have the greatest shaggy bodies!

Congrats! Definitely the breed I will keep if we decide to have beef....so freakin adorable!!! :love She looks really healthy. :) I think the hardest part is sending them to the butcher as they are just too pretty to look at.

We just got half a side of highland beef, very tasty!!! The is the leanest, brightest ground beef I have ever seen. The farmer that sold us the beef said he has never had to help a cow calf...they all have had very easy births.

I hope to have more soon. They are so calm and cool. Nothing bothers them. Neighbors are coming over to see them too.
Not something you see a lot of around here. I can see them in the field from the kitchen. Not a bad sight to wake up to. :D

Welcome to the Highland club. Those are some crazy horns on the red one. Our mature cows have horns similiar to the lighter colored one.

The red one is an old steer. The light one is the girl. :D I am enjoying them so much.
