My baby goats:

I was with them for a short while. I think I'll let them get more comfortable first. I noticed some food was eaten, so I guess that's a good sign? One of them...his stomach keep making noise. Is that normal? It sounds like food moving in stomach... BTW, Jac is the spotted one (94% Boer) on and Walter the dappled (88%) and of course, Cooper. My three boys!

Beautiful boys! I have a Boer/Kiko buckling that looks exactly like Jac! Same color coat and same spots!

It is a good sign! and that noise is WONDERFUL! Noisy stomach means a happy, healthy, goat! It's it digesting and putting it through all those 4 stomachs!

ETA: THEY ARE ADORABLE! Love the spots!

Thanks for the info. I just spied on them (I can see them from my spare room). They are walking around and one of them is eating... :)

Another thing, don't be afraid to play with them alot. Mine were a hint skittish too, I just sat in the barn and loved them if they came up to me. (IF)
Just hang out with them, they'll get used to it.

ANother thing, a great BYHer did, she read a book aloud. Her goats soon became interested. I think goats like voices, so don't be afraid to speak in a gentle happy tone that they can get used too.
later they'll know and love your voice and come up to you.

I did that too! Also, though I'm not sure if it really worked, I had an old flannel shirt I'd put on when I went to go see them, hoping they would recognize it, and know who I was (by sight or smell-it certainly smelled like goat!). And it had great pockets to hold treats! :D
