milking my goat!

I ( successfully ) milked my goat for the first Time today! Considering I have no stand, stanchion, or leg ties, Lucy did very well! My question is this: her kids are 10 days old today. I was going to start penning them ( the kids)at night and milking her in the morning. Does that sound okay? Can I milk twice a day in a couple weeks or now or do I wait until the boys are weaned? That is one little tidbit I can't seem to find.

Wait a few more days, until you are sure that they are eating hay and chewing cuds. Some sources say 14 days, I go a bit longer. Like three weeks. It is worth the wait to know the kids aren't starving-hungry in the morning, although they will SAY they are.

We have kids (triplets) that were born April 1st, and we are still not milking the mom. But then we have two other does that we are milking.
