Mini Donkey

does anyone know of any good books to read up on caring for mini donkeys?
We have 3 weeks before we get to bring the baby home and i'd like to be fully prepared on the caring of a mini. I've read alot on the web about the caring but would like a good book to be able to read through and have something on hand to refer to for questions.

A good starter book is "the Donkey Companion" by Sue Weaver. Good sensible information and is over 300 pages. Also look up on Amazon's site for others.

I would also recommend checking your local library. Check the books out and see how you like them. Then if you really like one and want it on hand you can buy it but, avoid the ones you don't care for.

We are in AZ and have a pair of mini donkeys. Chelsie 5yrs and Badonk Adonk 2yrs. Chelsie is in foal for Nov 2012.
