Mini Nubian female with a boer or boer mix male?

Wanted to ask if anyone has safely bred their mini Nubian female with a boer or boer mix male for meat purposes? I scrolled through a few pages and didn't see this particular breed mix anywhere...so thoughts?

It ALL depends on size of both animals and knowing the type kid the buck produces. Certainly, with a FF you'd want to be careful and present at kidding, in case she needed help. A Boer often produces large kids, it's one of the things for which they are bred. And if a mix, what's the other breed & percentage? Boer doesn't fully mature until 3+, so if young you want parent knowledge for possible size.

Then, some "minis" aren't so mini. Bone structure may be too small to birth without issue if they have the smaller structure but, some actually grow pretty much to full size. Genetics.

I cross breed my dairy to Boer but, have full sized does....Saanen and Saanen x Nubian. Also have full blood Boer does. . Body structure differences.

This is her and our Nigerian I feel like he's a bit chonky for a dwarf lol. We are also playing when is she due currently.

It is. That's why I asked, I don't want to jeopardize her health. Do mini Boers exist? I haven't seen a boer up close (no one has them around here) So I really have no real life size comparison other than reading stuff online. I'm trying to find a good meat goat breed.

I'm sure you could mini a boer, but I think you'd want to do a boer doe with a pymy buck, or possibly ND buck. You want those kids to be small and easy to pass through her kid chute.

Pygmies and myotonics actually ARE meat breeds that are smaller. Maybe you should check and see what's in your area.
